You could say that the sudden death of a loved one spurred an ego dissolution so strong that I felt the need to vomit words onto the screen and publish them. But I have walked closely with death since I was 10 years old when my oldest brother passed unexpectedly. I have years of experience with grief and dealing with the pain it brings.
